IN A NUTSHELL

We are looking to welcome a German-speaking Project Manager to our team to help make a difference in the world. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the management of one or more projects and teams. The PM’s responsibilities include managing a team and ensuring the team and project meet client expectations and company targets.

DAY TO DAY

• Manage client relations: responsible for maintaining open and effective channels of communication with the Client/s to ensure that MD7 is meeting objectives and delivering value through our project performance and relationship management
• Responsible for communicating the latest news/demands/updates from the carrier to the team
• Managing a team: assigning written targets to individual team members; performance management in line with MD7’s performance management processes; liaising with HR on personnel issues; managing absences, etc
• Reporting: both internal and external report design and delivery; communicate changes to any reporting requirements to Data/Reporting team for implementation; review, analyse and discuss and deliver to Client
• Assist with resolving invoicing/validation questions if required

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Excellent German language skills and basic English language fluency
• Demonstrable experience negotiating or persuading others to take action
• Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word are required
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively over the phone
• Ability to prioritize and be self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Effective time management skills
• Comfortable placing outbound calls
